BACKGROUND

HFC Bank Ghana limited, as a Universal Banking institution, was licensed in November 2003 to provide banking services to its valued customers. It evolved from a mortgage finance institution with mortgage financing as its core business. This remains one of the bank’s core business activities in addition to Commercial and Investment Banking services. 

In this regard, HFC Bank is playing several pioneering roles in the development of Ghana’s financial market.

SERVICE DELIVERY
HFC Bank introduced Automated Teller Machines in two of its eight branches recently, namely Ridge and Legon Branches. We are continuing our electronic banking expansion process to pass on convenience in service delivery.

All branches are networked offering real time on line banking services; customers can thus transact business at any branch nearest them.

Our new slogan underpins our service ethos: ‘Banking. The way you like it!’  That is, we focus our efforts and resources to cater for any category of banking needs of the customer.

This is Savings Promotion in which each customer has the opportunity to save towards winning a 2-bedroom house or buying his or her own home through an HFC Home Loan.

SME BANKING

Through our banking and investment management operations, a wide range of services is offered to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s).

At HFC Bank, we are concerned about the Small & Medium Enterprises as such we have established the HFC BUSINESS LOAN CENTRE.

HFC Business Loan Centre provides solutions to the financial requirements of SME’s in Ghana.

BOAFO MICROFINANCE SERVICES LIMITED

HFC Bank and CHF International registered Boafo Microfinance Services Ltd. as a non-financial subsidiary of the Bank in Dec 2006.
The mission of Boafo is to extend financial services to low and moderate-income Ghanaian households in their pursuit of shelter, business, education, and other opportunities.

Boafo addresses a market niche by providing housing and enterprise microfinance loans to households living and working in informal settlements in towns where HFC Bank operates. Boafo offers loans as small as 5,000,000 Cedis up to 200,000,000 Cedis per person.
