  HFC Unit Trust
   
 

HFC Unit Trust is a form of collective investment set up by Home Finance Company Limited, now HFC Bank (Ghana) Limited in May 1991.  It is a flexible savings and investment vehicle that provides an avenue for prospective home purchasers to save towards a down payment for a mortgage.

HFC Unit Trust is a unit trust scheme established under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179).  The Scheme is authorized by the Registrar-General of companies under the terms of Section 318 of the Companies Code. Following the promulgation of the Securities Industry Law, 1993 (PNDC Law 333), the operations and regulation of the HFC Unit Trust have been placed under the domain of the new law.  HFC-ISL as the Manager is paid a Management Fee
